It’s week four of The X Factor 2010 – and auditions travelled to London as well as Cardiff for the first time this series!
At the Cardiff auditions, mobile phone salesman Kash was keen to make an impact
However his singing and dancing failed to impress the judges, with Simon Cowell saying he sounded like he “had a bad cold”
There was better news for Rob Burn, who made it through to boot camp after auditioning on his 55th birthday
Meanwhile Tom Richards divided the judges with his first song
But the 16-year-old got a second chance courtesy of Louis, and scraped through after guest judge Pixie Lott was persuaded to change her mind about him
In London, the judges were convinced that girl group Bun ‘Nd Cheese were in it for a joke – although they assured them they were serious
Somehow we don’t think this woman is taking it too seriously though…..
There was better news for boy band FYD, who made it to boot camp
While Italian-born Nicolo Festa also made it through, with the judges describing him as “weird” and a “diva”
They were also very impressed by barmaid Lauren Francis
And McDonalds’ worker Raquel Thomas was another who reached the next round after her audition wowed the panel
However 19-year-old Paije Richardson divided the judges – Louis loved him, Cheryl and Simon weren’t so keen. They gave him the option to come back later….
…..and when he did, with a different song, he scraped through to the next round!
