It’s week two of The X Factor 2010 and this week auditions reached Dublin for the first time in four years
The judges were joined in the Irish capital by guest judge Katy Perry
However things didn’t get off to the best of starts with boyband Temple Fire delivering an out of tune performance
Girl group Sugar Bullet fared better – although Simon Cowell wasn’t too keen
While Michael McCarthy left Cheryl speechless with his falsetto rendition of Madonna’s Frozen
And we’re not quite sure what’s going on here – but this probably isn’t the best way to convince the judges to put you through to boot camp!
Luckily things did improve, with hairdresser Rebecca Creighton sailing through to the next round
And supermarket worker Mary Byrne wowed the judges with her powerful performance, with Cheryl calling it her favourite audition in Dublin
In London, Matt Cardle impressed the judges with his quirky stage presence
While Michael Lewis paid tribute to Michael Jackson
The judges weren’t impressed, with Simon describing his performance as “hideous”
There was better news for boyband The Reason, who sang Cheryl Cole’s song Fight For This Love – and luckily for them she liked it!
Quirky outfit Seven won a place in the next round with their offbeat performance of Just Dance
And Annastasia Baker, who reached the judges’ houses in 2008, made it through to boot camp – can she go one better this time around?
