X Factor finalists Fleur East, Andrea Faustini and Ben Haenow took to the stage of the Wembley Arena for three performances before the viewers voted Andrea into third place.

Andrea, who was without his mentor, Mel B, who’s ill, had been the favourite to win the contest until a couple of weeks ago, when Fleur started to take peoples’ fancy.

“You’ve done brilliant tonight,” Simon Cowell told Andrea after his solo performance of Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good”.

“I think you’re going to have an amazing career,” Louis Walsh added.

The finalists’ first performance of the night was together with Take That, singing “Rule The World”.

Then came their solo performances, followed by their duets…

Andrea duetted with Ella Henderson on “Ghost”.

Ben sang “Demons” by Imagine Dragons and duetted with Ed Sheeran on his song, “Thinking Out Loud”.

“I think you could go all the way,” said Tulisa, who was guest judging in place of Mel.

Fleur sang “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and duetted with Labrinth on “Beneath Your Beautiful”.

“I’ve seen you transform into someone really special,” Simon told Fleur.

And Fleur is the clear favourite to win with the bookies. Will Ben cause an upset?

The X Factor final concludes on ITV, Sunday, December 14, 8.00pm.
