Fern Britton’s This Morning wardrobe has been sold off to staff.
The 52-year-old presenter – who lost an impressive five stone with the help of a gastric band – apparently left the majority of her decade of outfits behind when she left the ITV daytime show last month.
The Sun reports an email was sent inviting the TV crew to Fern’s fashion sale, entitled A Journey Through Time And Size, stating the clothes ranged from size 10-22, with prices from £2.50 to £50 – and raised around £2,000 for charity.
A show source said: “We always have a fashion and beauty sale at the end of each series – but this one was dedicated just to Fern.
“It was a mixture of dresses, skirts, kaftans and tops, alongside trousers in all sizes as well as shoes and boots, all in size seven. There were high-street items as well as designer labels.
“I’m sure Fern kept a few things for herself, but the majority of her wardrobe went up for grabs.”
The money raised will boost the funds Fern raised to help mothers and babies on her charity cycle ride through Jordan.
