Hang on, we've seen that bloke before!
Eagle-eyed Emmerdale fans have spotted that Victoria Barton’s dodgy detective Glen is played by none other than Heartbeat actor David Lonsdale.
Stepping up her campaign to locate Adam, Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) hired Glen to track down her on-the-run husband.
Meanwhile, viewers were scratching their heads, thinking: “Hang on, I’ve seen that actor before”.
Yep, David Lonsdale is well known to Heartbeat fans as the comedic David Stockwell in the hugely popular 1960s drama.
And many spotted the link, with one tweeting: “David Lonsdale fab to see you in Emmerdale, you were and still are my favourite in Heartbeat.” Another put: “Ha David from Heartbeat is on Emmerdale as private investigator lol”. While a third fan wrote: “David from Heartbeat in Emmerdale now!”
A fourth said: “Catching up with Emmerdale and I see David from Heartbeat grew up to be a private detective lol.”
David made an amazing 259 appearances in Heartbeat, and he also appeared in spin off show The Royal.
He was in Heartbeat between 1993 and 2009.
The 55-year-old actor has enjoyed a long acting career with roles in The Full Monty, The Bill, Casualty and even as a former incarnation of Peter Barlow in Coronation Street! He was also in recent BBC1 drama Press.
Meanwhile, in Emmerdale PI Glen will be seen trying to con Victoria out of money by telling her falsely that he’s got a lead on Adam in Portugal.
And Glen turns nasty when he discovers Victoria hasn’t got the money to pay him. He is seriously angry and grabs Victoria. Can she escape him?
