TV Times top picks for tonight

What’s on telly tonight? Here the TV Times team of expert reviewers highlight the best shows on Saturday 15th September

Killing Eve. 9.15pm, BBC1

Doctor Foster’s Jodie Comer and Grey’s Anatomy’s Sandra Oh go head to head in this gripping eight-part spy thriller. Created by Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the drama is centred on MI5 officer Eve Polastri (played by Sandra), who finds herself on the trail of a ruthless killer, code-named Villanelle (Jodie). After learning the person responsible for a string of high-profile killings across Europe is a woman, bored agent Eve makes it her mission to catch Villanelle. What unfolds is a dangerous cat-and-mouse game between the two women. Cracking stuff! All eight parts will be available on BBC iPlayer after this episode has aired on BBC1. Rating: ****

Strictly the Best, 7.10pm, BBC1

Debbie McGee Strictly the Best

Debbie, who’s on Strictly the Best, loved her time on the show

We’ve already had a tantalising peep at 2018’s Strictly line-up when the celebs were matched with their professional partners last week, but to whet our appetites for the their dancefloor debuts next Saturday, this nostalgia-fest commemorates the past 15 series by looking back on some of the show’s finest moments. Jeremy Vine, Deborah Meaden, Ruth Langsford, Molly King, Daisy Lowe, Nancy Dell’Olio and Judy Murray are among those sharing their memories of donning spray tan and sparkles to battle for the glitterball trophy, and they also offer up tips for this year’s gang.
