There’s a new quiz in town! Daytime quiz Impossible moves to prime time for a celeb-packed new series. Eighteen famous faces battle for a £10,000 prize, with the winnings donated to a charity of the victor’s choice. Household names taking part include Gregg Wallace, Chizzy Akudolu and Debbie McGee. Ratings: ***

Cardinal: Blackfly Season, from 9pm, BBC4

A sure-fire way to get yourself killed if you’re a low-level drug dealer in a crime drama is to mouth off about how you’re going to spend the cash you’re about to make on a big score – so it came as no surprise when poor, silly Toof met his end last week. Tonight, as this excellent second series concludes with a tense, heartbreaking double bill, the discovery of Toof’s body, left in the forest by Ray’s henchman Leon (Daniel Petronijevic of 19-2, another superb Canadian police drama), helps Cardinal and Delorme put together the final pieces of this extremely dark puzzle, which has Ray at its horrific centre. Meanwhile, Cardinal’s wife Catherine comes by some shattering information… Rating: *****

Year in the New Forest, 7pm, C4

As the series concludes, the ancient woodland is experiencing one of its hottest Summers in decades, which has a profound effect on the area’s ecosystem. A host of rare butterflies burst into life, while deer, cattle and ponies battle with the flies and insects that are central to the New Forest’s wellbeing. Meanwhile, the people living in the forest reflect on the enchanting environment they call home. Rating: ****
