What’s on telly tonight? Here the TV Times team of expert reviewers highlight the best shows on Saturday 20th January

Hard Sun, 9.30pm, BBC1

You might think knowing that the apocalypse is nigh would make you slack off at work, but not Renko and Hicks. This week the mismatched cops tackle a religious zealot-turned-serial killer – chillingly played by Richard Coyle – and Renko continues her investigation into her new partner. Meanwhile, government spook Grace keeps turning up like a bad penny, and incites Renko’s son Daniel to violence when she visits his psychiatric unit. Rating: ****

Through the Keyhole, 9.30pm, ITV

Keith Lemon is back to poke around three more mystery celebrities’ homes. Joining him this week are comedian and Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness, presenter and former Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt, and MasterChef judge Gregg Wallace. Will this nosy trio be able to figure out ‘who habitates in a house like this’? Rating: ***

Obama: The President Who Inspired the World, 9.00pm, More4

Can you believe it’s been a whole year already? Today marks 12 turbulent months since the inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States, and More4 is marking the occasion with this new documentary on Trump’s predecessor. Reporter Matt Frei has followed Barack Obama’s rise from charismatic junior State Senator (he recalls watching as ‘the crowd swarmed around him like a rock star’ on the campaign trail) to the first African-American leader of the free world, and he presents this moving, absorbing look at Obama’s life and work. To compare and contrast, there’s a repeat afterwards of C4’s Meet the Trumps: From Immigrant to President. Rating: *****
