Scandalous affairs, big-figure settlements, fraught relationship battles… the emotionally charged world of divorce is explored in this six-part drama from BAFTA-winning screenwriter Abi Morgan (Suffragette). Nicola Walker plays Hannah Stern, an experienced divorce lawyer who takes a job at a rival firm after her mother, Ruth (Nicola’s Collateral co-star Deborah Findlay), refuses her promotion at the family firm. With an estranged father, sibling rivalries and an old flame in the mix, it seems Hannah’s life is almost as complicated as those of her clients. Also starring Stephen Mangan, Anthony Head, Meera Syal and Stephen Tompkinson. Rating: ****

Nine of our best-loved showbiz legends, including Cannon and Ball, Su Pollard and Bernie Clifton, have given us fun, laughter and a few tears in this reality series, which has followed them preparing for a one-off spectacular in Las Vegas. After weeks of rehearsals, the series concludes tonight with the famous faces putting the finishing touches to their performances. Underneath London’s South Bank, a monster is lurking. It’s the biggest one ever found in the UK and it’s dangerous, deadly even, if it isn’t dealt with in the right way. This stomach-churning study of the “fatberg” that’s blocking the capital city’s sewer system sees scientists examine five tonnes of the beast – and the results say interesting things about the way we live today.
