Love in the Countryside, 9pm, BBC2

It’s a case of sorting the wheat from the chaff in matters of the heart for Pete, Christine and Heather. Dairy farmer Pete chooses between Helen and Caroline, then leaves the farm to visit his new girlfriend at her home. Christine goes fishing with Joe and Josh where one of them catches her eye, leaving the other feeling like a spare pollock… Rating: ****

Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier, 10pm, Dave

Jon Richardson hosts a new comedy chat show – think along the lines of Room 101 – that sees the self-confessed obsessive-compulsive air his biggest worries. Each week, Jon welcomes two guests on to the show to help him get his concerns in to perspective. This week Suzi Ruffell and Josh Widdicombe discuss anxieties around ‘The Home’ including: Is it possible in these connected times to be bored? Do we get enough sleep? Are people loading dishwashers correctly? Jon may not get all his fears quashed, but his guests will rank them in order of severity, which should, at least, help him sleep better at night. Rating: ****

Europa League Final, 7pm, BT Sport 2

Atlético Madrid squeezed past Arsenal in the semis to book their place in the Europa League final in Lyon (k-o 7.45pm), and they face a Marseille team who also only just got through against RB Salzburg. In theory, the Spanish team are favourites (they were in the Champions League final in 2016), and have a forward line that includes the formidable Diego Costa coupled with the grace and precision of Antoine Griezmann, but this is a one-off cup game. Anything could happen… Rating: ****
