Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, 8.10pm, BBC1

Expect plenty of laughs and big name guest stars from tonight’s show recorded as live from London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Exuberant presenter and comedian Michael McIntyre introduces singing sensation Kylie Minogue, who surprises the audience by getting them to participate in a very special kind of karaoke. The Chase host turned Doctor Who star Bradley Walsh also enters the fray as he tentatively hands over his phone for the Celebrity Send to All (will Time Lord Jodie Whittaker be taking a call?). Plus, Michael makes airline pilot Stuart’s dream come true as he becomes tonight’s Unexpected Star. Rating: ****

Strictly Come Dancing, 6.50pm, BBC1

After last week’s trip to Blackpool, the serious push for the glitterball trophy begins. The seven remaining couples perform their routine, but also take to the floor all at the same time for a Lindy hop-a-thon! This will see the duos try a brand new style, and could make a huge impact on the leaderboard. Lindy hop is full of bounce and swing, so this is sure to be an entertaining finale to tonight’s show! Rating: *****

Evita: The Making of a Superstar, 9pm, BBC2

In June 1978 a new musical opened in London’s West End that was unlike anything that had gone before. Evita, starring Elaine Paige and written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, made Eva Perón, the first lady of Argentina in the 1940s, a global icon. Now, 40 years on, writer and broadcaster Suzy Klein wants to know who the real Eva Perón was. She talks to Tim Rice and Elaine Paige about their interpretation of the glamorous woman who rose to power despite her impoverished roots, and travels to Argentina to discover more about the real Eva, a controversial figure even today. Suzy also reveals the bizarre story of what happened to Eva’s body after she died at just 33. Rating: ****
