Our Friend Victoria, 9.30pm, BBC1

Our Friend Victoria

Presented by Victoria Wood’s good friend Anne Reid, this is a celebration of some of the best moments from Victoria’s many Christmas Specials. With clips from some of the most famous and most-loved sketches including Dinnerladies, the As Seen on TV Christmas special from 1987 and Victoria Wood: With All the Trimmings from 2000, it’s a joyous trip down memory lane with one of our favourite comedians. Her co-stars and friends also talk about working with the great lady, including Julie Walters, Celia Imrie, Shobna Gulati and Richard E Grant. On Friday 29 December, C5 airs Victoria Wood By Her Friends (9.00pm) followed by one of the comic’s live shows from 1997. Rating: ****
