Our Girl, 9.00pm, BBC1

Tonight’s the night for Elvis and Georgie fans – there’s a whole hour of smouldering looks, unspoken affection and sexual frustration as the pair try to deal with their feelings for each other. Of course, an army base on the frontline in Afghanistan isn’t the most romantic of settings and, if they’re to rekindle their passion, they’ll need to get over Maisie’s revelations. First, she tells Georgie (Michelle Keegan) she’s slept with Elvis (Luke Pasqualino), and then she tells him about Georgie’s new boyfriend… Meanwhile, Captain James is delighted to fight alongside an old friend, but will our hero listen when Maisie shares her suspicions about their new comrade? Another action-packed instalment. Rating: ****

The Great British Bake Off, 8.00pm, C4

Great British Bake Off Paul and Prue

It’s the semi-finals already and our four remaining bakers hope to prove they are the crème of the crop as they face an old-time tent favourite – Patisserie Week. With the standard of bakes so high this year, judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith have, er, kindly decided to set them three of the most demanding tasks in Bake Off history, starting with mastering those tricky choux buns for their signature challenge and ending with a meringue sculpture showstopper to decide who gets Star Baker. Now we’ve got to know the amateur bakers, we don’t want anyone to leave. But who’ll crumble under the pressure and narrowly miss out on a coveted place in next week’s final showdown? Rating: *****

18-30 Stone Holiday, 9.00pm, ITV

18-30 Stone Holiday

Alice from Nottingham enjoys the sea

Eight overweight Brits are heading to the Caribbean for a holiday that could change their lives. They’re off to a resort designed for obese people, but after they’ve relaxed on the reinforced sun loungers, it’s time to face their demons. And the thought of hitting the beach in their swimming costumes fills the guests with terror. An undemanding documentary, yet you can’t help rooting for the participants. Rating: ***
