Olly Murs and David Walliams will appear with their mums on a live Mother’s Day edition of Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
David and Olly will both be joined by their mums, while EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer will be partnered by her oldest son, Charley, in the special charity edition to screen on ITV1 on Saturday, April 2.
Viewers will have a chance to win big money because the cash won by the celebrity contestants will be shared 50/50 between their charity and a lucky viewer.
Olly said: “I can’t wait to go on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? with my mum. I have no idea how much money we will make, but I’m sure it’s going to be a good laugh and I’ve got my fingers crossed that we raise lots of money for charity.”
David and his mum, Kathleen, are taking part on behalf of The Princess Alice Hospice, a charity providing palliative patient care and support. Patsy and Charley are trying to reach the magic million for CLIC Sargent, a leading UK children’s cancer charity.
Olly and his mum, Vicky, are raising money for Brainwave, a centre where therapists work with children suffering from Cerebral Palsy, Downs, Autism and Developmental Delay.
