The X Factor returned last Saturday with some very strange auditions – and the early signs are that show two will be no different…

If you thought week one highlights ‘Ant and Deaf’ couldn’t be exceeded, just take a look at holiday camp worker Holly Jervis, 23, who believes she has the X factor.

Holly said: “I want people to hear me sing and not just at hotels, weddings or at holiday parks. It’s my time. My voice is big, it’s powerful and I don’t look like the kind of person that would have that voice. It’s time to show that off.”

The look of horror on judge Cheryl Cole’s face suggests Holly shouldn’t give up her day job just yet…

Phil Blackwell causes a spat between judges Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh when the 44-year-old steps up to perform his version of Spandau Ballet’s Gold, which goes on and on and on and on…

Is it the longest note ever held? You be the judge.
