Jonah is lured deeper into China’s dark underbelly, as his frantic search for the truth about his wife’s death continues. When he’s given a police tip-off about David’s connection with the triads, Jonah begins to suspect Megan’s Hong Kong husband of being involved in her murder and secretly follows him to the casinos of Macau, where another body turns up. Meanwhile, Megan’s daughter Lau is stunned to discover her mum left her a whopping five million dollars in her will, but when Lau’s new girlfriend Becky gets wind of it, it becomes clear that she knows more about her mother’s death than she’s letting on… Rating: ****

Black Earth Rising, 9pm, BBC2

A fresh lead sets Kate and Michael on a path to make war criminal Patrice Ganimana pay for his crimes during the Rwandan genocide. However, his defence lawyer Blake Gaines (a chilling performance from the drama’s writer/director Hugo Blick – how did he find the time?!) proves a force to be reckoned with. Meanwhile, as Alice provides Kate with another link to her past, a trip to the doctor’s unleashes a different side to Michael. Rating: ****

Jamie Cooks Italy, 8pm, C4

The chef rounds off his culinary trip in the snow-capped Italian Alps in Piedmont, a region famed for its hearty and flavoursome food. On the menu is a unique macaroni cheese and gnocchetti dumplings with pancetta, and he also learns how to make the perfect risotto from a nonna who knows her stuff! Rating: ***
