Adapted by Christopher Hampton from his play The Talking Cure, director David Cronenberg‘s A Dangerous Method is a thought-provoking tale of sex, theory and psychoanalysis which explores the intellectual battle of wills between Carl Jung (Michael Fassbender) and Sigmund Freud (Viggo Mortensen) — and Jung’s dangerous sexual liaison with patient-turned-colleague Sabina Spielrein (Keira Knightley).
