‘I live.  I love.  I slay… I am content!’

Drawn from the fertile imagination of pulp fiction author Robert E Howard, Conan the Barbarian is back this summer – bigger and better than ever – in an all-new action-adventure film. Games of Thrones actor Jason Momoa stars as the fierce Cimmerian warrior whose quest for revenge turns into an epic battle against hulking rivals, horrific monsters, and impossible odds, as Conan realises he is the only hope of saving the great nations of Hyboria from an encroaching reign of supernatural evil.

To celebrate the release of this colossal cinematic blockbuster, Lionsgate have given us two fantastic prizes to give away: two goody bags of merchandise containing Conan T-shirt, Robert E Howard short story collection, and a Conan inspired epic metal CD, Gates of Slumber (from Rise Above Records).  Plus, the first prizewinner will receive a Jason Momoa signed picture along with the goodie bag.

To be in with a chance of winning the prize, tell us your favourite sword and sorcery film and why. Is Momoa’s Conan the best ever, or do you prefer Arnold Schwarzenegger 1980s version? And let’s not forget the king of them all, the original Hercules, starring the immortal Steve Reeves. Can anyone really fill his sandals? You decide. The most original post gets the coveted signed picture and goody bag, while the second one out of the hat gets the second goody bag.
