Michaela Strachan, Chris Packham and Gillian Burke are heading to the home of 'the most amazing diversity of sexy species,' according to Chris!

Winterwatch 2019 will broadcast live from the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland on BBC2 in January, the broadcaster has announced.

Billed as the “wildest landscape in the UK”, presenters Michaela Strachan, Chris Packham and Gillian Burke will follow the animals as they cope in the depths of winter in one of the toughest places around to survive.

And, in an exciting twist, the cameras will follow the journey of the animals for the whole year as the team return there for Springwatch and Autumnwatch.
