X Factor winner Sam Bailey will be spreading some magic to mums all over the country as she fronts a special for Daybreak on ITV.

In Mum’s Wildest Dreams, Sam will be making dreams come true for some deserving mums who have been nominated for a treat by their loved ones.

Sam, who triumphed in last year’s X Factor, beating Nicholas McDonald and Luke Friend in the final, is a mum of two and put her own singing dreams on hold to have a family. In Mum’s Wildest Dreams she’ll be surprising mothers who have sacrificed their own hopes and aspirations to bring up their children with all kinds of treats, from zorbing to zookeeping!

“You can’t focus on anything else when you’ve got babies, especially when you’re so young. But having people around that know it’s your dream, they’ll support you,” says Sam. “I’ve got the best husband I could possibly wish for. He finds it tough being away from me with what I’m doing, but he knows this is my dream.”

Sam, who also supported Beyonce on her world tour in Birmingham and is due to embark on her own tour early next year. It’s been a busy time for the former prison officer, and Mothers’ Day on 30 March will be no different.

“I’ll be on the X Factor Live Tour so I’ll be working, like most mums will be on Mothers’ Day,” she says. “If I were at home my other half would have done me a nice Sunday dinner and made me put my feet up!”

Mum’s Wildest Dreams is on Daybreak on ITV from March 24-28.
